PORSCHE SERVICING
All my Porsche's are fully serviced by Porsche Centre Exeter- Official Porsche Dealers. The cars also undergo a 111 Point Porsche Approved Used Car inspection- The same inspection that a Porsche Main Dealer carries out on their own cars
I even take 19 year old cars to a main dealer for servicing, Not the best way to save money, BUT the best way I know to ensure they are correctly serviced and to look after you

I am the only UK Independent who prepares his cars this way

WARRANTIES PLEASE READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY
Ever bought a car with a warranty not worth the paper its written on? You end up arguing with a call centre that won't pay!
Did you know that some  warranty companies wont pay more than a £30 an hour labour rate? Most Porsche Main Dealers charge £99 an Hour?

Did you know  that you can take any Porsche to an Official Porsche Centre and have a Porsche111 Point Check Done?

If the car passes they will sell you a Porsche Warranty for £895 than you can renew annually until the car is 10 years old or 125,000 miles. I.e The last day you can buy the warranty is the cars 9th birthday. Subject to an annual inspection and or service

i used to provide this warranty with my cars BUT IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH FSA REGULATIONS I CANNOT INCLUDE THIS IN MY PRICES,

HOWEVER

I would be delighted to deliver your new car to them on your behalf so they can do the inspection for you and for them to  provide  you with the warranty if you wish to buy it.

I  would  naturally respect your request for me  to reduce my price to cover this expense If you chose to do this

Unfortunately this is the only way I seem to be able to look after you and keep the FSA happy,  

Pre Purchase Inspections
If someone asks me for advise about buying a Porsche I always say that the best £150 you will ever spend is on having the car inspected before you buy it
All my cars have undergone an Porsche111 Point Check, This is the first thing I do when I've bought a car.
This is the same check that a Porsche Main Dealer gives their cars before they go into their showrooms
This inspection is always given to you when you buy the car, and can be faxed or emailed before you travel to view it.

TYRES
All my cars have a minimum of 4mm of tread
All my cars have N Rated Porsche Approved Tyres
All my cars have the same tyre on all 4 wheels, I.E. 4 Pirelli P Zero Assimetrico's, NOT 2 Assimetricos on the front & 2 P Zero Rossos on the rear

Bodywork
The problem is your dream car is immaculate , shines just like it was new, not a stone chip or car park ding or a scuffed alloy wheel.
Most specialist will tell you that " their cars are original, and you would rather see a car with its original stone chips than one thats been repainted"
WHY? because it costs money to rectify?
When you go to a main dealers showroom, their cars are perfect, Why? They've had the stone chips rectified.

All my cars have the stone chips, alloy wheel scuffs attended to by professionals

Valeting
My cars are detailed only using ZYMOL Products
They use Zymol Vintage wax
The wax alone is £1600 a tub Not A Misprint £1600!!!
This ensures the your new car shine lasts that much longer

I have only just got this wax ( Jan 5 2006) and the effect is amazing, Most people think I'm mad, But the finish is truly incredible

Nationwide Service And Armchair Viewing
I' 've travelled the country for 20 years looking for cars and I know how disappointing it is to find its not what it should be.
Thanks to e-mail I can send you Photos of the car, copies of service books, a copy of the service invoice that I've had done, log books and HPI reports of any of my cars.
Cornwall may be a nice place for a holiday but its a long way to go to look at a car.
Most of my customers never come here , I take the cars to them, or meet them at a convenient point to them
I ''ve sold a lot of cars in Scotland, Customers regularly fly down to Bristol for £40 on Easyjet and I reckon they've been home before I have on the train.
In May 2004 I sold 2 cars in Aberdeen in one weekend and the customers never knew each other!
London customers can fly from Stanstead and Gatwick for similar amounts!

All cars are HPI Checked to protect you from outstanding finance, write offs, stolen cars and fraud. The report is given to you with your car.

My Home is in cornwall but that's a long way from most of my customers, In most cases I deliver nationwide

My philosophy
I believe when you are buying a Porsche a lot of my customers are buying a dream,
Reality is a 5 year old car with an alloy scuff and stone chips, Your dream doesn't Include them.
That's why I try and make my cars as perfect as possible,
Here's a true story

April 2006 I sold a 2000 X 911 Carrera 4 Convertible, 16,064 Miles, 6 Main dealer services , Last serviced in September 05 at 13500, with a Porsche Warranty till September 06, which I could transfer to the next owner if the car was sold privately but as a dealer i cannot due ( but I bet a lot of people do),

SO do I transfer the warranty to the new owner and tell him the car needs a service in 5 months time and he's got 5 months warranty (Remember a Porsche Main Dealer only services a used car if a service is due in within 3 months)

OR

Do i have the car serviced, put 12 months warranty on it for him and have a 111 Point Porsche Inspection done

I serviced the car, it needed the rear main oil seal doing, I had  the big 4 year 48,000 Mile service done, new clutch as when the gearbox was out the clutch was 70% worn, 4 new brake discs and pads
TOTAL COST £3600,

No big shock for the new owner in 5 months time !

True Story No 2

I take a 2004 911 in part exchange
 

The previous day the previous owner  had it serviced and extended the warranty before it had expired, None of the salesman bothered to talk to him as he was wearing jeans so he bought a 997 from me.

I tell him to cancel the extension to the warranty as I'm not allowed to transfer the warranty to the new owner

I sell the car a couple of months later, have the car inspected so the new owner can have the porsche warranty

6 cracked ignition coils

Air Conditioning Condenser has a small hole in it

Lambda Sensor malfunctioning

Total Cost  £1403.01

The car had done less than 700 miles from being serviced and 350 of those miles were going to from Porsche Centres

Again No Big Shock For The New Owner
